Istanbul Public-Private Partnership Center of Excellence will host a four-day executive training program on public-private partnerships (PPPs) mainly for the Ministry of Economy; other Ministries will also participate. The training will take place in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, from January 22-26, 2017.

PPPs have emerged as critical tools in the design, construction, finance, operation, and maintenance of infrastructure facilities. They are used in a wide range of economic sectors and countries.

The new vision of KSA 2030, which is based on privatization, and enhancement of PPP will bring in new and more diverse revenues for the Saudi government. This will further enhance the financial resources and economic stability, which will be reinvested for long-term impact for KSA.

It is mentioned that in National Transformation Program 2020 and Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 PPP will play a huge role. “Development of further sophistication of investment vehicles; particularly PPP will be one of crucial one of among these tools.”

This Training Program is focused on sharing the best practices and lessons learned from successful international PPP projects across all industry sectors. The course will cover the basics of PPPs.

Participants will learn from case-study examples of both successful and unsuccessful PPPs. They will also form new contacts, connections and collaborations with other motivated participants through shared sessions and networking opportunities.
