Istanbul PPPCoE has successfully held the Turkish-Nigerian PPP Business Delegation program on 12th February, 2016. The Honorable Minister of State for Aviation H.E. Hadi Sirika and his Delegation has been welcomed at DEIK headquarters in River Plaza by the Hosts and Turkish company representatives who are interested in doing PPP business in Nigeria.

The PPP Business Delegation has been moderated by DEIK PPP Committee Chairman Eyüp Vural Aydın, Ph.D. The program started with the opening speech of His Excellency Senator Hadi who emphasized the importance of upgrading the existing Nigerian airports into world class standards. Following the opening speech Mallam Aminu Diko, Director General of The Presidency Infrastructure Concession Regulatory Commission, gave an insight on the Legal and Regulatory Framework for PPP Projects in Nigeria and the Managing Director of Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) Engr. Saleh Dumona hold a presentation on Airport and Aviation Sector planned PPP Projects. After the introduction session of the Nigerian Delegation the Turkish company representatives introduced themselves and pointed out what kind of PPP projects their companies are interested in. At the end of the day the PPP Business Delegation program provided a networking platform and opened a door for possible collaborations and businesses in the field of PPP among Nigeria and Turkey.
